Estudio de pre-factibilidad para la implementación de recuperación secundaria por inyección de agua a la arena U inferior en el pozo Guanta 27 del campo Guanta Dureno

Abstract:

The main objective for the development of this work was to determine the pre-feasibility of implementing secondary recovery by water injection to sand U inferior of Guanta 27 well. This injection would affect the behavior of the wells Guanta 5, Guanta 11, Guanta 12 and Guanta 28. Due to the limited availability of time and economic resources, analytical methods were used to estimate oil production after injection. Chapter one includes a compilation of information on the geological and petrophysical characteristics of the Guanta Dureno field, state of the field, its history of pressure and production. Chapter two describes basic concepts of water injection, analytical methods for the prediction of production behavior, the selection of the methods that were most adapted to the conditions of the reservoir and the results obtained when using said methods. The different existing methods for the prediction of oil produced by water injection are analyzed and it was chosen the method that best suits the field and Petroamazonas EP. The technical - economic analysis was developed in chapter three, using the financial indicators NPV and IRR, calculated for three scenarios according to the price of oil barrel. For the analysis, the surface facilities, the investment necessary to start the project and the source of water to be injected were considered. Finally, chapter four lists the conclusions and recommendations according to the results found in the previous chapters.
