Estudio de un sistema de refrigeración a través de la adsorción carbón activado-metanol utilizando fuentes renovables de energía

Abstract:

The present work includes the study of the technical and economic feasibility of a refrigerating machine using the pair activated carbon methanol using solar energy, in the quantitative and qualitative approach. Bibliographic research is used in the study of the state of the art, since three works are considered in which the characteristics of the adsorption process and the physical dimensions of the machine, as well as the final product, will be analyzed. The process is compared between the stages of the machine that uses the compressor and the one that uses the cooling pump that is composed of the generator and the adsorber. The qualitative variables are the study of the cooling system against the convenient saving of electricity consumption and environmental pollution. The convenience of the study is determined because in our country the solar radiation indexes are high because of the feasibility in the construction, implementation and exploitation of this type of refrigerant machine. Adsorption cooling systems using solar radiation are still in the experimentation phase, but if the remaining heat coming from a turbine or boiler of other equipment is used, these are already commercial and can compete in the market. The classical compression systems are more technically and economically feasible, however, other variables that have not yet been quantified are considered as the damage to the environment due to the emission of gases to the ozone layer.
