Estudio socioeconómico de la comercialización de Cacao nacional del cantón el carmen, provincia de Manabí
Abstract:
In this research project, it was possible to recognize the imminent problem that exists in the Canton of El Carmen, specifically regarding the inadequate commercial management of the national cocoa, being this the biggest product that is more commercialized in the national market as well as international, being able to be the sustenance of the population. The canton El Carmen is located in a sector has a climate that is suitable for the fields. Diversity in agriculture allows to find different types of cocoa emphasizing the national or also called fine of aroma being one of the most produced and better in quality. The study was based on surveys carried out on producers in the cocoa sector indicating that the majority of respondents are dissatisfied with the current marketing system. Thus, through an analysis, it has been determined that the most feasible tool to restructure the marketing process that is taking place is part of the interference of intermediaries whose participation lies in the lack of knowledge on the basis of trade by producers, Such a proposal is proposed as a training plan for producers with the aim of acquiring appropriate knowledge by encouraging the association in them, therefore the creation of a guild of cocoa farmers will be given, thus reducing the marketing intermediation to a great extent , Leading to an optimum commercial management of national cocoa to improve the profits and quality of life producing families.
