Abstract:

It demonstrates the feasibility of setting up a dairy production plant, in which it determines the projection of both demand and supply, performs an analysis taking into consideration the prices and distribution channels used by the competition. At the same time, it analyzes the factors to consider to establish a correct location and sizeof the plant, defines the processes to be carried out and the engineering of the project, the machinery and the resources necessary for the implementation of the project. It calculates the total investment amount, which is $ 4,581,872.10, composed of $ 343,243.20 of fixed investment and $ 4,238,628.90 of operating capital and its financing from corporate personnel and a bank loan. Validates the start-up of the project through financial analysis, obtaining a NPV of $ 371,534.58 and IRR of 12.91%, as well asa cost-benefit coefficient of 1.44.
