Abstract:

This research work has as objective the study and design of a recreational center and eco-tourism exhibitions on the Babahoyo river bank, located in the cantonal capital of Samborondón. Place that has never before exploited attractions, such as the use of the tributary of the Babahoyo River as the structuring axis of the recreational spaces of the project. The intention is to know through the investigation, the interest of the inhabitants for their participation in the development of a community tourism that encourages their economic development, by means of the integration of architectural spaces that are new and compatible with the environment. Using the bamboo cane as the predominant construction material, both in its structure and in the envelope. The proposal is developed in five stages that involve the introduction and justification of the topic, the methodology of the scientific research applied to the architecture, delimiting and formulating the problem of the project, followed by a project proposal that will demonstrate the practical application of the theories generated in the draft.
