Ethics in sport, an unavoidable theme in physical culture professional training

Abstract:

Today, when the practice of sport is threatened by incompatible scourges with this activity at all levels, it is required to directly focus on ethical values formation in physical culture professionals, which are, in firstly, those who will have the challenge of preparing the new generation of athletes in Ecuador. An analysis is made on the subject and it is identified the need the intentional formation of ethical values from different curriculum disciplines and subjects, as well as from the academic, labor, research and extension activities in the future professionals. The system also determines values to be formed, which are organized in two dimensions, at a personal level and at social levels.
