Abstract:

This research had as objective to evaluate to the athletes of the Club of Physicoculturism of the Technical University of the Nortedes of the fisioterapéutical point of view, being realized a study of descriptive type, qualitative, of non-experimental design and of transversal section; in which 38 athletes were evaluated, characterizing them in age, gender and ethnicity, as well as applying tests and observational methods. For the identification of the anthropometric measurements, the ISAK method was used, thus finding that the adipose percentage in male gender is 10% and in female gender it is 18%, in regard to the muscular percentage in male gender is 52% and in female gender is 47%, while bone percentage is equal in both male and female gender with 14%, and the residual percentage in the male gender is 24% and in the female gender is 21%. When identifying the somatotype according to the Health Carter Method, it was evidenced that 100% of the masculine gender presents a mesomorphic somatotype unlike the women who present 63% with mesomorphic somatotype and 37% Ectomorphic. In the postural alterations the Kendall postural test was applied, observing that in the anterior plane the following postural alterations predominate, head symmetry 55%, shoulder height 53% and finally ear height 50%; in the lateral plane there is greater predominance in head symmetry with 50%, followed by flat foot and knee angulation with 42%; Finally, in the posterior plane, there was a 55% symmetry of the ears, a configuration of shoulders with 53% and the apex of Achilles with 50%.
