Evaluación de factores de riesgos en la Empresa Amorticentro S.A.

Abstract:

For the development of this investigation, an evaluation has been made for risk factors that are present in the warehouse area of the company AMORTICENTRO S.A. This analysis has been made for the warehouse manager, where the following risk percentages hav been calculated: 29% intolerable risks and 71% important risks; for the warehouse assistant 30% intolerable risks, 10% important risks and 60% moderate risks; for the emperchador 44% intolerable risks and 56% important risks; for the stevedore 33% intolerable risks and 67% moderate risks, and for the general services 37% important risks and 63% moderate risks.After having established the risk percentages of each of the working posts, the efficiency level of the safety system that is actually available in the company has been established, and this is 14%, which means that the system they have now is inefficient. After having concluded this analysis a proposal has been made for the measures to be taken for the solution of the above mentioned problem, where the company is recommended to invest in the best economical way in a system of risk prevention, in order to avoid whichever fines for non-fulfilment of the law and whichever high potential accidents that might cause permanent incapacities of the workers.This economic evaluation can be observed in chapter III, where the financial indicator of the cost/profit attainability determines that for every dollar that the company AMORTICENTRO S.A. would invest in a system for the prevention of labour risks, a return of 5.6 dollars would be generated, which could in fact create the possibility to start this project.
