Evaluación de la calidad de energía eléctrica del laboratorio de automatización de la facultad de Informática y Electrónica - ESPOCH
Abstract:
The electrical power quality of the automation laboratory of the Faculty of Informatics and Electronics of ESPOCH, located in the city of Riobamba, was evaluated. The analysis considers the variation of frequency, amplitude, waveform and symmetry according to the standards of ARCONEL 005/18 and 004/18, EN50160, IEC 61000-4-15 and IEEE 519-2014. The study is justified due to continuous incidents in the high-cost equipment available in the laboratory. From the analysis carried out on the main board, with the Fluke 435 equipment applying a sampling rate of 10min during 7 days according to ARCONEL regulations. The flicker of Plt was highlighted, in phases C with 7.24% and in B with 6.05%. The average harmonic distortion of total current in phases A, B, C and neutral was 44.61%, 65.24%, 55.27% and 231.94% respectively. The harmonics of order 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 with the highest individual current distortion are presented in phase B with 46.22%, 34.52%, 22.15%, 15.26% and 9.14%, respectively. The total power factor calculated was 0.83p.u. and the minimum 0.79p.u. in phase B, values that do not comply with regulations. As a solution it is proposed to install an active filter in parallel of 30A, of the type AFQm-4WF-030M-400 of CIRCUTOR or the SINAFM440030W of LIFASA, to verify the electrical connections and to avoid possible modifications or expansions of the same ones without a previous study. This will guarantee the electrical power quality of the building and the proper functioning of the existing equipment.
