Evaluación de la lámina de riego superficial sobre el rendimiento de cuatro hibridos en el cultivo de maíz Zea mays L.
Abstract:
This trial was conducted from June 22, 2015 until October 28, 2015 in Peñafiel Agricultural land, located at km 52 via Duran - Tambo, Sector El Triunfo, Guayas Province. We analyzed the following objectives: 1) Determine the performance of the four maize hybrids with irrigation depth. 2) Assess the climatic parameters and water needs during the growing period. 3) Perform economic analysis. Four corn hybrids were evaluated: H1 (INIAP 551), H2 (INIAP 602), H3 (Thunder) and H4 (INIAP 601); the flow rate of 60 m3 / s, corresponding to 6 cm of water surface was also studied. The complete block design at random (DBCA) with 5 repetitions, totaling nineteen treatments used. Twelve agronomic variables were measured. According to the results obtained it was concluded: a) The best hybrid performance of the four treatments according to the irrigation depth is the hybrid INIAP 601, to obtain the best performance with 4778 kg / ha beating everyone else. b) The climatic parameters and water needs during the growing period according to the FAO-56 ETo is 3.44 mm / day, with a flow rate of 180 m3 / s of water, divided into three stages of cultivation, the variables are obtained; male flowering, silking, plant height, number of rows per ear, grains cob, weight of 100 grains, grain weight per ear, and performance. c) On the economic analysis, the best hybrid is INIAP 601, which indicates that for every dollar spent we have a return of $ 7.30 in recovery.
