Evaluación de las alteraciones de los parámetros en hemograma y perfil hepático en Distemper canino
Abstract:
This research was conducted in June 2009 - June 2011 in dogs from private clinics in the city of Latacunga for the province of Cotopaxi and the City of Guayaquil for the province of Guayas. Of the 50 samples analyzed these corresponded to clinically and by laboratory diagnosis, positive for canine distemper. Subsequently, samples were taken which was obtained from venous blood, nasal and eye discharge. Only positive animals Canine Distemper underwent blood evaluation consisting of complete blood count, were obtained blood samples in a vacutainer tube with EDTA anticoagulant lilac, in the amount of 1 to 3 ml. Liver profile, were obtained blood samples with a minimum 3ml in a vacutainer tube without anticoagulant red. From this analysis it was shown that if there were changes in blood count: eukocytes were found increased 2% and 12% decreased, 18% higher neutrophils, lymphocytes decreased 90%, no major change in erythrocytes was found 54%decreased, hemoglobin decreased 40%, hematocrit decreased 16% and 2% higher, Mean Corpuscular Volume declined 2%, mean corpuscular hemoglobin was found 88% higher and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration decreased 10% and 6% high, which indicated the presence of bacterial and viral infections, such as non-regenerative and regenerative anemia and dehydration. It was also demonstrated in this study that the profile had elevations in ALT liver 88%, AST 64% FA 40% 18% q Direct Bilirubin told us that there are pathologies liver, GGT 44% of liver damage. Referring to the 16% total protein are decreased indicating digestive disorders, kidney or liver and 34% albumin indicates that there is decreased liver failure and kidney problems. Of the 100% positive clinically tested positive laboratory diagnosis through rapid test kit for canine distemper Anigo. Of the positive VDC greater percentage were dogs 2 months to 1 year 80% from 1 year to 3 years 14% and 3 years to 6 years to 6%. Q demonstrated young dogs are more susceptible to developing this disease. We obtained 46% were females and 54% positive for Canine Distemper dogs. Regarding Races, 78% were purebred and 22%of mices races.
