Analysis of ecuadorian business investment in relation to iso-14001:2015 certification

Abstract:

Environmental certification and corporate social responsibility are increasingly important demands by consumers, so compa-nies must make great economic efforts to achieve them, however there is no analysis of these efforts in relation to certification, that is why it has been proposed as an objective to establish the relationship between the investment made for the fulfillment of business objectives and environmental certification, For this purpose, a methodology with a quantitative approach was applied, whose methodology is of the empirical level of knowledge, with bibliographic and documentary review techniques, of primary and secondary sources, of a segment of the business population and by means of statistical inference a strong association is determined between the investment of rethinking the processes through training and environmental certification.
