Analysis of energy consumption in laboratories by circular economy using nihm batteries

Abstract:

This paper presents an analysis of the consumption for electronics laboratories through the use of circular economy. The circular economy is a strategy that aims to reduce the use of new materials and where the most materials are used, whether recycled or not, to generate economic factors in favor. In this case, the resource to be used is the nickel-hydride-metal batteries (NiHm) present in hybrid vehicles and which are often not reused. These batteries by means of a simple charging process can be adjusted again to be used as external generators and supply energy necessary for consumption within a technological laboratory. This will allow to improve the energy efficiency in consumption and reduce the expenses of electrical consumption.
