Analysis of palliative care by integral care teams of the health center n.1 tulcán

Abstract:

The research was carried out at the N ° 1 Health Center in the city of Tulcán, whose objective was to develop strategies for the application of palliative care by Comprehensive Health Care Teams in the same center. Qualitative and quantitative research was used, carrying out a descriptive and explanatory study with a cross-sectional design, a systemic approach and scientific observation that allowed us to understand the current state, in addition to diagnosing the problem situation, using a survey aimed at the entire population of professionals in the Health Center No. 1 and an interview guide; What was successfully demonstrated was that some professionals were unaware of the contents of the Practical Guide to Palliative Care, preventing them from receiving adequate care.
