Evaluación de un Sistema de Inmersión Temporal frente al método de propagación convencional en la multiplicación in vitro de cilantro cimarrón (Eryngium foetidum) a partir de …

Abstract:

In this investigation, Eryngium foetidum (spirit weed) was used as a model plant in order to develop future projects about micropropagation of other productive an economically interesting species through temporary immersion systems (TIS). Besides, E. foetidum has some potential characteristics which could be used on future investigations on metabolite production for pharmacological and industrial purposes. At the establishment stage of micropropagation of spirit weed, leaves, petioles, and axilar buds were used by applying different concentrations of NaClO. The most viable resulted to be axilar buds which were surface sterilized using a commercial detergent and disinfected on 0.8%(v/v) of NaClO for 10 minutes. The buds inoculated on Murashigue&Skoog (MS) medium. E. foetidum plants were regenerated through direct organogenesis by using different concentrations of growth regulators. Adventitious multiple …
