Abstract:

In the public and private educational institutions of Ecuador, it is of great importance the performance of teachers as part of a process of improvement regarding the institutional management, that is why the Ministry of Education maintains different evaluation processes that allow to establish the path that leads the educational institutions with respect to the main actors of the teaching-learning process in each one of them. The factors that make it difficult to complete the learning circle according to the results investigated specifically relate to time control in the teaching hour and to the little usage of the technological resources that the institutional infrastructure has." San Gerardo" Private School, concerned about improving the performance of its teachers in the baccalaureate section, has allowed this research to be carried out on the teachers of the baccalaureate section, applying the class observation tab, while teaching their classes in a normal way. During the monitoring process, it was possible to detect that the performance improves in specific aspects considering the evaluation required by the Ministry of Education.
