Analysis of solutions of network access control to improve in and out securities on corporative networks
Abstract:
This is a fact already known by all many companies make large and important disbursements to keep their equipment and information safe from possible attacks and threats that are internal or external. Among the internal threats are the duplication of users, the change of credentials of access to the network, where fraud, sabotage and robberies through the network are actions that need to be faced with technology and training. The research analyzes the different alternatives of network access control solutions offered in the market. The products of technologies, and the standards that are proposed for computer security. The work determined that ESPOCH does not have Network Access Control (NAC) tools to control access to the network since the efforts are mostly focused on updating antivirus on computers with 42% for which no NAC policies have been implemented. The open source PacketFence tool and thanks to this there are constant updates that allow you to face new threats, which is why having the latest update is imperative. In the market, the wide and varied package of solutions for information security has made companies and institutions aware of the importance of having solutions to "new attacks", which can be victims and that is why the updating of knowledge in the Computer area is of utmost importance.
