Evaluación del comportamiento del babaco (Vasconcella x heilbornii nm.pentagona) en tres tipos de alturas de podas en plantas de seis años de producción en la Parroquia Bulán, cantón Paute, Provincia del Azuay

Abstract:

This Investigation was developed in the months of August from the 2009 to Julio the 2010, with duration of 330 days from the execution of the project, in the Parish Bulán, Canton Paute, province Azuay. The zone is highly babaco producer, reason for which this investigation was developed. Where have proposed this hypothesis, since the cultivation is very profitable for the producer. For it you carries out, leaving of a pruning with 6 year-old plants in production, underwent the plants to a return to young pruning to three types of heights (25cm, 30cm, and 40cm.) and we carry out the nutritional handlings, control plant sanitary that this cultivation requires. The objectives proposed in this investigation were: To reestablish the babaco cultivation, by means of pruning in six year-old plants, to fulfill the parameters climatologically, to interpret the variance percentage among clotted and abortions in the three types of heights, to analyze the productivity to the 10 cm of longitude, to disclose the results by means of a technical converse.
