Analysis of the Human Development Credit (CDH) in the beneficiaries located in the Province of Guayas. Ecuador


Abstract:

The article analized the micro entrepreneurship settlement through the Human Development Credit lended by the Government to the recipients of the Zone 8 (North and South of Guayaquil and Duran). A bibliographical review of the evolution of the HDC and the Popular and Solidary Economy and its laws is performed. The methodology that was used was the visit, accompanying and monitoring of 153 recipients developed by students of the University of Guayaquil. Amongst the main results there are 95 recipients who started a business and 58 who did not; in the variable of marital status they were compounded in: single, married and in civil union, Most of the ones who started a business, settled it in food sale and mini markets. We can conclude that 30% of the recipients used the full amount of the lended credit for entrepreneurship, 32% used it partially and 38% did not use the credit for entrepreneurship.
