Analysis of the elements that affect the abandonment of the elderly in Santo Domingo

Abstract:

This research is framed in the abandonment of the elderly, which constitutes a global problem, motivated by inappropriate social behavior and legal inactivity. Different empirical methods were applied such as: interviews, surveys, MASP, PESTEL and AHP Saaty; as well as other theoretical methods, of importance in the subject analyzed. The causes that affect the abandonment of older adults were ranked, being Political, Legal, Economic, Social and Technological. An action plan is proposed taking into account this hierarchical level.
