Analysis of the relevance of the master’s degree in aquaculture at the technical state university of Quevedo, Ecuador

Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to determine the level of relevance of the Master’s Degree in Aquaculture at the Technical State University of Quevedo, Ecuador. It highlights some theoretical references regarding the importance of aquaculture in the Ecuadorian educational context. The Master’s Program in Aquaculture aims to contribute to the development of universal thought, the deployment of scientific production and the promotion of technological transfers and innovations, strengthening in the students a reflective spirit oriented to the achievement of personal autonomy, within a framework of freedom of thought and ideological pluralism. The Master’s Degree in Aquaculture is inserted and linked to the National Development Plan 2017-2021 Toda una Vida, in Axis 2, with objectives 4, 5 and 6, which highlights the training of professionals to be able to respond to the strengthening of the social and solidarity economy, ecological, based on knowledge and human talent.
