Analysis of the right to food of persons in groups made vulnerable by catastrophic illnesses


Abstract:

This research is based on the idea of carrying out a critical analysis of the right to food of a vulnerable population group, such as patients with catastrophic diseases. To address this issue, it is based on a set of indicators that serve as a guide for the monitoring and evaluation of this issue. The following methods were used: at the theoretical level, inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic, within the empirical ones are the survey, scientific observation, and descriptive and inferential statistics were also used. The objective is to apply a set of indicators for the analysis of the right to food of people with catastrophic diseases. From the results obtained in the present research, it was possible to confirm the need to go deeper into this subject.
