Analysis of the scientific production: case of Leveling teachers of the University of Guayaquil.
Abstract:
This research aimed to analyze the level of scientific production achieved by the leveling teachers of the University of Guayaquil until the first half of 2016. Using the descriptive methodology, with a quantitative approach through a structured survey (21 items) in two sections: Teacher profile (10 items) and scientific production (11 items) applied to 240 teachers. The analysis made it possible to confirm that the result is concentrated in 228 teachers (95%) who use TICS and virtual platforms in their classes. This variable reaches a "Good or bad" level of scientific production (M = 4.39), its distribution is symmetrical of normal or mesocuric concentration and has the lowest dispersion of data. In contrast to 42 teachers (17.5%) who have published scientific papers.
