Abstract:

One of the main problems that has presented in recent years in Block 15 is the increase in the production of formation water, so the repowering of the current system of reinjection of water installed in the JVN-A platform is a solution to the management of increase of formation water. To achieve this objective, the new pumping system was evaluated to the re-injection wells A7 and A9, which, when combined with the pumping system, achieved a new reinjection capacity with the volume of water directed to the respective wells of the JVN-A platform. By increasing the reinjection capacity, it was determined to evaluate the flow lines that make up the real reinjection system, with which it is possible to achieve velocity values and study diameters; to select the type of current flow between the speed ranges was taken as the criterion of the standard API 14E for both suction and discharge speeds. With the selection of the flow lines, it is essential to place control and safety instruments such as basket and valve filters; In addition, a risk analysis was carried out regarding the pumping system, both new and real. As a result, of this evaluation proposal, new reinjection capacity in the platform. Jivino A is 46 000 BAPD that improves the reinjection system.
