Analysis of the use of resources in the virtual teaching-learning platform of the Universidad Catholica de Cuenca during the 2018-2019 semesters of the professor role

Abstract:

This document analyzes the use of the resources available in the Virtual Teaching Learning Platform EVEA, at the teaching level that is designated with the role: Professor, in the 2018-1 cycles (September 2018– February 2019) and 2018-2 (March 2019-August 2019), which shows the activities and resources that have been used the most and, above all, the value they generate in the existing modalities: face-to-face and blended. The level of participation of the teaching staff in the use of information technologies provided on the platform, which support the chair, is also analyzed. It is demonstrated through six analyzes, how the use of the platform has evolved in the detailed semesters, these were based on: greater use, use by activity and resource, use by headquarters and institutional extensions, use by academic unit, use by career; and, use by teacher and career. The hypothesis is that in the medium term the EVEA will require greater resources both human and technological infrastructure, as it grows in a sustainable way.
