Evaluación y bkp_rediseño del sistema de agua potable de la Urbanización Banco de Fomento, cantón Rumiñahui, provincia Pichincha

Abstract:

The project Evaluation and Redesign of the Drinking Water System of the Banco de Fomento Urbanization is focused on assessing the problems that the drinking water system suffers, pointing out them and, if they are significant, carrying out a complete redesign of the system, complying with all the design parameters. For this purpose, tours of the sector were carried out, which helped us to identify the problems that the drinking water network has, such as water leaks, damage to tap collars and home facilities. Likewise, a survey was carried out among the inhabitants to collect information that was used for the evaluation of the drinking water system. After collecting all the information needed to evaluate the drinking water system, the network was modeled in the WaterGEMS program, obtaining values that are not within the acceptable range by the regulations, it should be noted that the evaluation was carried out for the current period and future years, for 10 years, 15 years and 25 years. Once the evaluation was completed, the drinking water system was redesigned for 25 years, where two alternatives were designed and modeled, which comply with the design parameters granted by the Autonomous Decentralized Municipal Government of Rumiñahui and with the regulations in force. These two alternatives consist of a reference budget and its estimated timetable, as well as an economic-financial analysis, the latter to determine the viability of the alternatives being favorable for both cases.
