Analysis of visiting profiles and tourism promotion of the Saraguro County

Abstract:

The research called: "Visitor profile, identification of potential tourism of the Country Saraguro and their promotion"; it has objectives such us: analyze the current situation of Canton Saraguro in different fields, determinate the visitor's profile and potential tourism potential of the Canton Saraguro and propose strategies to promote tourism in country. The study is based on four phases, through the application of quantitative and qualitative methods, essential results are obtained, so that the Canton Saraguro is a destination with a level of low to medium of competitive, because of their twenty-three attractions just six reflecting be competitive, also, as many tourists are Ecuadorians, keeping a temporary stay. So that the research can establish the necessary bases for people independently and according to the environment and natural and cultural resources it possesses, can promote them and prepare them as future sites of interest for sightseeing.
