Evaluation benefit cost of the state program of multiplication of rice 2015-2016

Abstract:

The objective of this research is to analyze the profitability of the rice seed multiplication program implemented by the State, compared to the improved seeds marketed by the market. In the methodology, economic / social categories were addressed, such as production costs, subsidies, production by use of certified seed and income. The evaluation of the state project is very sensitive to variations in the prices of rice seed, therefore, the welfare model is far from sustainable.
