Evaluation factors musculoskeletal risk area shoe fitting

Abstract:

Integrate the ergonomics is fundamental in the process the manufacturing and services enterprises, nowadays is primordial, not only for avoid musculoskeletal injuries because it has a direct relationship with the performance in the workstation, therefore to get improvements in this aspects, it would a direct possibility to increase the productivity. In this context this work presents the evaluation of working postures in the staff who works in the assembly area of a footwear company. The evaluation start with the study and description of each activity of production process in the assembly area, with that relates the working posture adopted for the person and the time dedicated to the daily activities. As a result to applicate the methods Ovako Working Analysis System, OWAS, determined the 16,92% of evaluated postures in nineteen workers will had the possibility of cause damage to musculoskeletal system, while with the …
