Evaluation of alternatives for the use of public resources in major emergencies using analytical hierarchical process (AHP): Case of study cantón de ambato

Abstract:

This study is born from the lack of a technical analysis of Humanitarian Logistics, the absence of spaces considered safe for temporary shelters in case of emergencies in the canton Ambato makes the sea vulnerable to an adverse event. For the case study due to the large amount of resources of public infrastructure and similarity of these it is necessary to rely on computer system for decision making such us ArcGIS to georeference public resources and Super Decisions to apply the AHP calculation. Through this research and the proposal has been improved by 65% in the allocation of safe places in urban and rural areas, this optimization has been improved to 327,194 inhabitants with a shorter response time.
