Abstract:

Experimental measurements of the temporal variation of the turbidity of a dodecane/water nanoemulsion stabilized with sodium dodecyl sulfate were endeavored. The ftting of a theoretical expression of the turbidity to the experimental data allowed evaluating the value of the focculation rate of this system at various salinities (380 ≤[NaCl] ≤600mM).
