Evaluation of the level of fear of death among undergraduate students in nursing
Abstract:
The objective of this study is to evaluate the level of fear of death among undergraduate students in nursing at UNIANDES university. For this, the Collet-Lester Test in its Spanish version was used to 256 students of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years. The level of fear of death in the studies was 3,400±673; the fear of the death of others was the greatest among the 4 subdimensions studied, and the least fear was of one's own death. It is necessary to perfect the process of initial training of nursing students for a better assimilation of death.
