Evaluation of the quality of Angolan Polytechnic Higher Education: A theoretical-functional model of institutional self-evaluation
Abstract:
This present investigation occurs in the need expressed in the normative documents of the Angolan Higher Education Subsystem, to adopt process of institutional self-evaluation with contextualized, dynamic and participative character, adjusted with the historical realities of the country. The objective is to create a theoretical-functional model of institutional self-evaluation with its implementation procedure for the improvement of the quality of the Angolan High Polytechnic Education, demonstrating its theoretical and practical validity. As the fundamental results, the conception and design of the theoretical-functional model and its procedure of implementation as well as the theoretical validation through Delphi Method and practical validation through the Iadov Technique stands out. This allowed us to confirm its validity, feasibility, viability, operability and potential as a way to improve the quality of the Angolan Polytechnic Higher Education Institutes.
