Evaluation of vitro sugar cane plants, recommendations for agronomic management

Abstract:

The introduction of sugarcane vitroplants in seed production has been a challenge faced by Cuban pipe farmers, who have had to assimilate the introduction of this new technology on the daily work, however this situation has achieved formidable results with the management of vitroplants, especially in the central region of the country, which does not mean that all the doubts and problems that have arisen with the introduction of the vitroplants have been resolved. Some causes that slow its introduction on a larger scale, are answered in this study, which undoubtedly presents the solutions to speed up and make transplantation more productive, such as reducing losses after transplantation, how to control weeds with chemical methods in these plantations, The possibility of using soca from vitroplants as propagation material, seed, was also sanitarily assessed.
