Abstract:

The final project developed below aims to provide an alternative action to the erroneous final disposal of tires out of use within the Integral Center for solid waste management in the city of Loja, located in the Colinas Lojanas neighborhood, through strategies that Involve experimentation in design with such waste material, which presents favorable characteristics for its insertion within the constructive scope, taking into account for such development processes of reuse from primary basic tools. In addition to developing a technical-architectural response to the final disposal of the tires, research on recycling and reuse of this type of waste is also involved, which proposes new alternatives for use without taking the tire to industrial processes that are highly polluting for the environment. In the integrity of the analysis, environmental optimization criteria are also included, so that construction is taken into account, including the largest amount of material, so as to provide an intelligent alternative to a problem of incessant and uncontrolled growth.
