Experimental reproduction for salmonella cholerasuis in pigs. Clinical and bacteriological aspects

Abstract:

He was carried out the reproduction in pigs of 7-8 weeks of age of a stump of Salmonella choleraesuisvar. kunzendorf, being inoculated by the oral road and intragástrica 8 animals, respectively. 4 pigs like controls were reserved, which were exposed to the natural infection. The animals didn't suffer alimentary transgressions neither they were exposed to factors pbkp_redisponent during the experience. You them checkup the temperature and other clinical parameters until the 14 days post inoculation. Periodically they took samples of fecal grounds and rectal hyssops for the bacteriological investigation, to the 7 and 14 days post inoculation 10 animals were sacrificed, including 2 controls. The results revealed that the inoculated animals presented high fever, diarrheas, breathing dysfunctions and cutaneous erythema's, recovering the germ in the ganglion lymphatic mesenteric, liver, thin and thick bowels, red bone marrow, lung and spleen. You concludes that it is feasible the experimental reproduction of the Salmonella cholerasuis var. kunzendorf the swinish species, recommending you to use different dose infectant and to subject the animals to factors pbkp_redisponent in the experimental reproduction.
