Expert system for the diagnosis of vertebral column diseases

Abstract:

Vertebral column diseases affect the carrying of the signals between brain and organs, therefore, it is important the diagnosis of these diseases. In this work, we propose an expert system that is implemented by the means of a Morphological Associative Memory. The information analyzed was a dataset that has six attributes and three classes. The expert system provides a diagnosis of vertebral column diseases; it reads the dataset and automatically finds the parameters for its best performance. The effectivity of the proposal is of 99.7% that is a competitive result when it is compared with others algorithms.
