Abstract:

The third molars or so-called wisdom teeth are the last teeth to develop and appear in the mouth, can occur when they do complete and / or partial mind impacted in the jawbone. They are called wisdom teeth because they usually occur late in the end of adolescence or near twenty years, which is considered the age of the trial. The treatment is surgical, so the surgeon Maxillofacial is the most appropriate specialist to highlight it because of their surgical training in various areas of Oral and Maxillofacial territory. It is not advisable expect third molars give discomfort. So we will make the extraction of the third molar in mesial-angular position at an early age in the general patient since the early removal of these results in a less complicated healing process. The technique used to remove third molars will depend on several factors, which technically will be chosen by the surgeon considering some aspects such as degree of inclusion of the third molar, position, tilt, root length, bone density. After a case study where you choose the type of incision to be made and the approach of the tooth is planned, depending on the above factors you are going to choose to facilitate surgical removal if a bone osteotomy is necessary to be held or odontosection and in more complicated cases both techniques were used for the removal of the tooth, as in this case made where both techniques are used, eventually some stitches are placed to keep the soft tissues of the mouth in position , and help proper healing. After about seven days you must return to the withdrawal of the same, which is an act of short duration and minimal discomfort and recovery of the patient was very smooth and quick, noting that doing a good osteotomy and tooth extraction third molar mesioangular position is done much faster and hassle free
