Factibilidad de implementar una nueva ruta eco turística en la comunidad indígena Dashino en la parroquia Gonzalo Pizarro, en la provincia de Sucumbíos en la Amazonia Ecuatoriana


Abstract:

Tourism business has been one of the fastest growing markets in Ecuador during the last years; bringing lots of revenue to the country apart from the country’s well exploited markets such as petroleum, banana, shrimp and roses, and tourism being sixth on the list of the country’s main income generators. Thanks to its privileged location, Ecuadorian soil possess a great amount of natural resources, rich in fauna, flora and culture without leaving apart the advantages of its spectacular climate. Ecuador being a country with a limited amount of territory but rich in diversity in which distances between one attraction and another become short enabling to meet different regions of the country in a short amount of time. This has been the main reason behind the touristic boom of the last decade that goes hand to hand with the native inhabitants belonging to different locations that work along a kind of fair tourism and ecological norms that has been established to work out a sustainable business model. Due to the fact that this research paper it’s focused on analyzing the profitability of a touristic project inside the province of Sucumbíos, residence of the Dashino community, it was developed with the aim of exploiting the tourism surrounding the adjacent zone and to help improve the quality of life of the residents of the area.
