Factores asociados de la rinofaringitis en niños menores de 5 años que acuden al Subcentro de Salud de Monte Sinaí
Abstract:
Acute rhinopharyngitis is a respiratory tract infection that affects the pharynx and nasal cavities. The purpose of this work is to demonstrate the incidence of rhinopharyngitis in children under five years of age who attend the Mount Sinai health sub-center. Objective: To determine the factors associated with acute rhinopharyngitis in pediatric patients aged 1 to 5 years in an outpatient clinic at the Mount Sinai health sub-center in the city of Guayaquil in 2019. Conclusion: The factor associated with this pathology is level Low socioeconomic status, the largest population lives in cane / wood houses, without basic services with this there is an intimate relationship between the state of malnutrition and the recurrence of this pathology and also that the children presented in their clinical picture with greater recurrence cough and obstruction nasal episodes of rhinopharyngitis.
