Factores asociados y nivel de estrés en los trabajadores de la empresa Gerardo Ortiz. Cuenca 2016
Abstract:
Background: The organizational climate, lack of cohesion, influence of the leader, among others, are associated factors that can intervene in the development of work stress. In Ecuador, there are few studies on work stress in our companies, so it is a problem that must be studied for their greater understanding. Objective: To determine the associated factors and the level of work stress in the workers of the winery area of the Gerardo Ortiz Company. Basin. 2016. Methodology: A quantitative, analytical-transversal study was carried out on 200 workers in the winery area of the company Gerardo Ortiz. The ILO-WHO questionnaire was used to determine the factors associated with the level of work stress. All factors were classified according to their level in low, moderate and high. We used the chi-square test to establish associations when the value of p <0.05. Results: The level of work stress was: 54% low, 31.5% intermediate and 14.5% stress properly. Age, level of education and core of coexistence were associated with work stress. According to the classification of the associated factors, the influence of the leader presented the highest frequency of low level with 26.5%; Followed by technology with 14.5% and backing of the group with 13.0%. All the associated factors showed a significant relation with work stress (p <0.05). Conclusions: There is an association of work stress with middle-aged workers, non-university level of education, have children and with low levels of associated factors such organizational climate, lack of cohesion and leader influence, and group support. Considered in the strategies of reduction of work stress in the Company Gerardo Ortiz.
