Factores de riesgo asociados a infección de sitio quirúrgico en pacientes postcesáreas


Abstract:

Infection at the surgical site and complications resulting from it have been an inseparable surgical practice from its rudimentary beginnings to the present done This study aimed to determine the incidence and the main risk factors associated with the infection site surgical patients in post cesarean section in ObstetricGynecologic Hospital Enrique C. Sotomayor in the period 2013- 2014. the rate of caesarean sections per 100 births for 2013 was 63.9% and in 2014 of 61.68%, the incidence infection was 0.29% 0.31% 2013 and 2014, less than the working hypothesis of the 100 identified cases of caesarean section wound infection, the mean age of patients was 26.68 years aged 14 and 19.19 ± 43 years, 41% had ≤ 5 antenatal and prenatal checkups average was 6.07 ± 1.83. The pathology associated were anemia 25%, eclampsia 2% and rupture of membranes 27%, 13% patients had a previous cesarean section, 81% had two cesareans without previous caesarean 6%, 65% received antibiotics in the last quarter of embrazo in the ASA rating only 1 patient was classified in class III, 7% did not receive antibiotic prophylaxis. The type of caesarean body type 5% and 94% Segmental, 2% do not register the type. The average time of surgery 11.79 ± 68.41 minutes. The SSI was 57% type I, type II 41%, Type III 2%. The average days of hospitalization in this series was 7.81 days ± 5.27 days, showed signs and symptoms within 48 hours to 12 days. The manipulation of the wound was at 37% in the home, 52% in other health institutions and 10% in the institution under study. The wound culture was performed in 23% of patients of whom 11% had no bacterial growth within 48 hours 11%, E coli 9%, Stapylococus aureus 2% and Margonella margini 1% 77% you were not conducted crop.
