Factores de riesgo asociados al síndrome de Burnout en las enfermeras profesionales del Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo, Azogues, 2011


Abstract:

Records. - The Syndrome of Burnout makes reference at the level of labor stress that happens in professionals that specify to maintain a relationship of constant and direct help with other people. Objective. - To determine the prevalence of the syndrome of Burnout and the associate factors of risk in the nurses that work in the Hospital “Homero Castanier Crespo”. Materials and Methods. - He/she was carried out a prevalencia study, of cross section during the month of July of 2011. The study Universe was the infirmary graduates that work in this Hospital. The sample conformed it the 59 graduates of infirmary of the different services that collaborated voluntarily with the investigation. For the rising of the data a questionnaire was used with the scale of Maslach, the same one that was filled by the investigators. The information was entered in a computer Acer 3620, the analysis of data was carried out by means of the program Excel and the statistical package Spanish SPSS 17 version. Results. - Of the 59 nurses that work in the Hospital "Homero Castanier Crespo” the 54 they are affected by the Syndrome of Burnout presenting Emotional Exhaustion (AE) with 91.5% and Despersonalización (DP) with in 86.4% in intermediate and low level, while the lack of personal realization throws a percentage of 94.9% as high index being this the subescala where the infirmary personnel is not affected by the syndrome. Summations. - The personnel of infirmary of the Hospital "HomeroCastanierCrespo", is exposed to suffer labor estrés due to the atmosphere in which its activity is developed.
