Factores de riesgo para el inicio del consumo de alcohol en los adolescentes del ciclo básico del Colegio Fray Vicente Solano, Cuenca 2012


Abstract:

Risk factors influencing the onset of alcohol use are all those individual causes, family and social somehow routed the teen into the habit of drinking alcohol. Objective: This research study determined risk factors for the onset of alcohol use in adolescents basic cycle Fray Vicente Solano College, City Basin 2011-2012. Material and Methods: This was a descriptive and quantitative study, in that it describes the characteristics of the risk factors for the onset of drinking, and then presents the data in a quantitative way. Universe consists of the total of 496 adolescents enrolled in the basic course of the College "Fray Vicente Solano", of which 415 students accepted to join the investigation. As the survey technique was used through a form, which was applied to the basic cycle teens Fray Vicente Solano College. Results: The investigation concluded the existence of alcohol consumption differentiated by gender 55% women and 75% men consume alcohol. It also confirmed the strong role of the family with 66% and the influence of friends is 56%, which are the key risk factors to encourage drinking. 66% of respondents have consumed alcohol. As for the family factor found that 184 teenagers have a closer drinker at home as a parent. Finally the individual factors that lead to teen alcohol intake are curiosity 84%, 43% search for fun, low self esteem 40%.
