Factores de riesgo y complicaciones partos podálicos en mujeres gestantes entre 17-44 años de edad y sus neonatos en el Hospital Gineco-Obstétrico "Enrique C. Sotomayor" en el período 2014
Abstract:
The presentation or breech occurs in one out of every 25 births and accounts for 3-4% of all births. Its frequency increases with decreasing gestational age. Until the 28-32 week under normal conditions the fetus has an extraordinary mobility being in an unstable situation with varying presentations. This seems to be conditioned by the high volume of amniotic fluid and the spherical shape of the uterus. Gradually this way is becoming piriform and amniotic fluid volume decreases relative to the volume that could occupy. (1) Strictly it is a labor of high maternal and perinatal risk, either because the causes that determine fetal presentation, either by the mechanism of labor, by the anatomical arrangement of the birth canal, alterations cord and maneuvers used to their attendance. Knowing that has a lot to reach a satisfactory resolution by the medical staff, it is the experience that should present equipment in question at the time to attend and address this type of delivery always looking for both maternal and fetal for those so well not reach so fearsome to peri and post-natal complications in this population to study because they are part of primary care.
