Factores determinantes de la competitividad de las PYMES de servicios en la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract:

The general objective of this research work is to identify the determinants that influence the competitiveness of SMEs of services of the city of Guayaquil to maintain a sustainable entrepreneurship, this is due to the reality that crosses Ecuador, because only 25% of SMEs exceed two years of market life. Due to the information compiled in the theoretical framework, current situation of SMEs in culturally similar international markets, studies carried out by Ekos and Senplades and the perception of the researcher, it was opted to conduct structured interviews at 55 entrepreneurs in real estate services and other services, where the result was that innovation, technology and strategic planning contributed to the sustainability of companies, the same hypothesis established by the author. Once the replies were obtained, mechanisms were proposed to help increase the competitiveness of these companies, not only for SMEs that were studied in this research work, but also for those emerging companies of the same sector that need to be competitive and sustainable in the market of the city of Guayaquil or other similar. To complement the research, it was decided to implement the statistical model of contingency factor table, which ratified the hypothesis, that the three factors mentioned above contribute to a service SME be sustainable over the time.
