Factores que inciden en los embarazos adolescentes en el Hospital Maternidad Mariana de Jesús
Abstract:
According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), some teenagers plan and want their pregnancy, but in many cases this is not the case. Teenage pregnancies are more likely in poor, less educated and rural communities. In some countries, out-of-wedlock pregnancies are not uncommon. In contrast, some adolescents may receive social pressure to marry and, once married, to have children. In middle- and low-income countries, more than 30% of girls marry before the age of 18, and close to 14% before age 15, which has led to a high percentage of birth rates complications arise for both the mother and the pregnant product. This research used an analytical-deductive methodology with a cross-section that allowed a survey to be applied to 178 pregnant adolescents who attend the Maternity Hospital of Guayaquil, after the statistical analysis of the information collected, it was concluded that these cases are due to the lack of awareness on the part of adolescents regarding theirsexual and reproductive.
