Factores relacionados al abandono del tratamiento de antifímicos en adultos atendidos en un Centro de Salud de Guayaquil.


Abstract:

Tuberculosis is one of the pathologies that has caused more deaths, it is determined that a third of the population worldwide is infected with the bacillus Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the present study is based on the increase in the rate of failures in the treatment due to the abandonment of antituberculosis treatment, for this reason the present work will allow to know which are the factors that influence the abandonment of antituberculous drug treatment in a health center. General objective: To know the factors that lead patients to not comply with their Antifímico treatment in adults attended in a health center in Guayaquil. Methodology: Descriptive quantitative study conducted in a health center in Guayaquil from January 2018 to February 2019. Results: 71% (N = 40) male, 76% (N = 42) does not receive support from their families, in lifestyle, they consume daily tobacco 39% (N = 22), alcohol several times per week 43% (N = 24) and in drugs 48% (N = 27), about the attention received, 53% (N = 30) waited a long time to be attended, 59% (N = 33) did not understand the medical indications, 30% presents cutaneous reaction and depression. Conclusion, the health center must carry out individualized strategies to intervene in each case and prevent the abandonment of treatment. It was determined in the social determinants, that in their majority they have abandoned their treatment, because they do not have support from their relatives. In addition, they maintain a drug and alcohol consumption several times a week, as well as daily tobacco consumption.
