Abstract:
Adolescence as a life cycle is characterized by a series of relational, physical and psychic changes that bring changes within the families and the individual. Aggressive behaviors in this period are usually common, these two components-adolescence, family-are often the reason for various studies because of the complexity in their analysis and approach. The research approach used is quantitative, descriptive, of transversal type; Shows nonprobabilistic type for convenience, obtaining a total of 189 students in an age range of 14 and 15 years. The instruments that have been used are the Aggressive Scale (EGA) and the Family Functioning Questionnaire (FF-SIL). Data were analyzed using mathematical statistical methods and frequency analysis in the SPSS program. A medium range of aggressiveness was found in its various components-physical, verbal, psychological-moderately functional and dysfunctional. Verbal aggression is more prevalent in women.
