Fecundidad en el Ecuador y su relación con el entorno social y evolutivo
Abstract:
This paper analyzes the changes of the female fertility in Ecuador, from 1990 to 2007, period which provided real data. Then, based on the fertility rate detected it tried to infer the behaviors fertility in the short and medium term, for which Vital Statistics are used from years 1990 to 2007, the Survey of Employment and Disemployment ENEMDU in the same period and Censuses on Population and Housing of 1990 and 2001. The results show a decreasing tendency of the rate female fertility in the country; this rate is explained by the female population of fertile age, the total population and the rate of natality. In addition, the demographic bond for Ecuador will be studied, because knowledge will allow the government to take appropriate measures to their use. Finally, this study indicates that the demographic bond will be located between 2013 and 2022.
